Our Partners

Since 2013 we have been partnering with Universities who deliver scholarships on our behalf.
The University of Nottingham STEM Scholarship
The Lillingstone Trust STEM Scholarship in conjunction with the University of Nottingham provides two bursaries of £5,000 each year to students at Nottingham University studying STEM subjects.
‘I am writing to express my gratitude for the scholarship I have received. I am now studying my first year of Aerospace Engineering, having completed my Engineering Foundation Year last year. It is because of the support you have provided me with that I can focus on my studies – alleviating some of the stresses around financing my time at University. ‘ – Nottingham Student
The University of Buckingham
In March 2020 we launched a scholarship scheme in conjunction with the University of Buckingham. This will be offered to local students wishing to study either Computing or Psychology and will be available from September 2020.
We will also support a hardship fund for such students studying at the University.
‘I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people of Lillingstone Trust for giving me such a unique opportunity of support to follow my ambitions of studying BSc Psychology at the University of Buckingham. As I mentioned in my application, this really was a life changing enrolment and I can honestly say so far the experience has been one of great success and unrivalled opportunity!’ – Buckingham student

Outreach
We fund the outreach program which includes a series of community science lectures given by visiting speakers from universities, companies and entrepreneurs.
The outreach program also takes science out to Year 2 pupils at local schools through Science Fayres which offer pupils the opportunity to carry out simple science experiments that get them to question the world around them and develop essential enquiry skills.
MK:U
